On July 13,2018, the fifth Open Course hosted by CIID Foshan, "Pride and Prejudice", is successfully held at Florina's headquarter.
There are more than 80 designers from Foshan participating in this event. They energetically communicate and share opinions on the design trends.

| Three guest speakers are invited to discuss how the brand affects design. They are Mr. Liang Yuxi, partner of Moxiang Design Consulting Co., Ltd.、Mr. Ho Guohui, vice President of Foshan Design Enterprise Association, founder of Ho Guohui Design Co., Ltd. and Mr. Xu Qingliang, vice president of CIID Foshan, founder of Ruikun International Design. Subjects like how local designers develop out of Foshan to undertake large-scale projects in first-tier cities are also discussed, as well as the intermediate problems and solutions that would arise during the project. Thus, every designer on the scene harvests a lot. |

At last, a salon is held in the recreational area of Florina. Where Mr. Xu Qingliang, Mr. Liang Yuxi, Mr. Lin Wende, executive director and chief creative officer (CCO) of Hong Kong Chengtuo Construction Consulting Co, ltd. and Mr. Zheng Baojun, general manager and CCO of Lan Mo Han De Design Agency share their insights on design. Everybody also enjoys the coffee and cakes in the salon, which provides a relaxed and casual atmosphere for the event. |

▼About CIID Foshan Open Course
In 2018, there will be 10 designer salons held in Foshan. The guest speakers will consist of 20 young designers, along with 30 designer favorite building materials brands. Different interactive guests will also be invited to the scene to create more different thinking sparks with you. This action has been carried out by CIID interior design network Foshan to serve several purposes of academic discussion. One is to provide a platform for Foshan designers to exchange and learn; the other is to improve the impact of Foshan design; the last is to promote the seamless alliance of building materials enterprises and designers. The main goal is to let designers think about the innovative value of design, enhance the value of products through designs, promote the development of designing industry, and achieve social value, human value, and commercial value. |
